For Ash Gupta and Studio 838, November was a month full of international flair. Ash continued his Venetian mask project, with models Heather Burton and Jeri, the new face of Bebe Fragrance. Couture designer Maggie Barry created clothing out of fabric printed with Ash's photographic images. These pieces were debuted in a live photo-shoot installation as part of the LA Fashion Walk. Ash also completed the artistic, art-themed editorial for London-based "The Collective". Ash and the studio shot a branding-images campaign for the Bollywood Step Dance Troupe. Rising star, actor Collin Blake, was captured atop a Harley, America's most-loved bike. Broadcast company RTL came to LA to film Ash in action for a German reality show. Finally, the month ended with several big production shoots featuring Bollywood superstar Preity Zinta.
Studio838 opened the Fall season with a complete vertical campaign, from print to motion commercial spots, for high end jewelry designers Highglow Jewelers this month.Also featured in September was the reinvention of Rachele La Fevre of "Twilight" Fame, who shot with Ash at one of Bel Airs most infamous residences, producing an editorial, that like her character in the films, is truly timeless. Meagan Good "The Unborn" star, was also featured in an editorial this month that was all rockandroll-north of sunset-sultry cool. Fine art series "the silk web" was shot with Jasmina Hgdada of Vision Models. "Black Truth Midnight", a fine art coffee table book shot with Max Ryan who will be starring in the upcoming "Sex and the City" sequel oppisite Kim Catrell and Niki Sabet of Ford Models. Niki Sabet was also featured in an upcoming campaign shot by Ash for studio838. The experimental collaborative art project with Designer Maggie Barry featuring Ash's photography was completed this month. The fine art beauty series titled "wrapped in beauty" will be printed on textile which will then be sourced and cut for an exhibition of Maggies new line to be featured for L.A. fashion week. Another upcoming exhibition will be titled "Ashley" A collaborative event/ show featuring pieces from Both Ash and Ashley Longshore an American painter. Part of the proceeds from both artists at the show will benefit woman's cancer patients. Malibu designer Shannon Lewis of bubululu was shot for an upcoming campaign featuring her trademark eco-conscious Balinese made bamboo textile casuals and swimwear. Finally rounding out September found the Magazine "Acted by" interviewing Ash and the studio for an article detailing the names and exploits they live through every day.
